Globally, architects are placing more emphasis on sustainability and the challenges such projects pose. Buildings with sustainable architecture are easier to design and maintain, based on ecological and resource-efficient principles. They use natural resources efficiently in order to reduce the need for non-renewable resources, and eliminate use of toxic materials to improve the natural environment.

Sustainability in building design and construction can be achieved in three ways: environmentally, economically, and socially. Environmentally, the design aids in resource preservation and restoration, decrease energy usage and waste, and protect environmental biodiversity. Economically, the design serves to lower the building’s operational costs over the long run, increase human performance and productivity, and boost its market value. Socially, it aims to improve the quality of life by enabling a healthier environment both indoors and outdoors. The design uses organic, entirely recyclable, and reusable building materials along with renewable energy sources.

Governments are encouraging EV vehicles to reduce the toxic carbon emissions. The European Commission introduced a tax on plastic last year in an effort to encourage businesses to find eco-friendly alternatives.

Living in a more mindful way as regards our environment has never been more significant. Keeping this in mind, we at The Design Studio always ensure eco-friendly design features, elements, and building materials in all our projects. We incorporate solar panels and rainwater harvesting systems, and we also create awareness about the significance of such measures.
