Arnaya Brings Nature Into Urban Spaces

International luxury lifestyle brand Arnaya presents a portfolio of dimensional surfaces, designed by ace architect Nikita Mehta. Designed for both interior and exterior spaces, the tiles take their design cues from the varied artistry present in nature, and are made using state-of-the-art technology. The Five Axis machine, for instance, ingeniously replicates the movement of the human hand, allowing the company to offer end-to-end manufacturing with carving and inlay, resulting in exquisite pieces that maintain error-free consistency even in large volumes.

Some of Arnaya’s innovations include a juxtaposition of fragile coloured glass with hard marble surfaces; inlay of Mother of Pearl into artificial quartz; semi-precious stones like amethyst and malachites carved into fine Italian marble; and other jaali and trellis work – all of which depict a paradigm shift in the utilization of stones.

The Natura Collection is inspired by foliage, florals, and flowing streams; the mix of 2D and 3D tiles are crafted using traditional and contemporary techniques - from basic inlay, mosaic and overlay to engraving and carving.

The Sierra Collection takes its cues from mountains and hills, and juxtaposes elevation and altitudes with recesses and cavities, dramatized in 3D tiles. A brilliant play of light and shadow brings walls to life with the tiles convexity and protuberance.

The Tessera Collection presents a minimalistic approach to stone tiling with a wide range of 2D tiles. With techniques of inlay and mosaic, the tiles can be used as wall and floor tiles alike to artistically enhance contemporary spaces.
